Leather
I have a couple of not-yarn projects in mind, but I decided to start with the Corral Belt from Knit Wit. It's made out of leather cord. Here is a picture of my progress so far:

As you can see, it ends up looking sort of like a braided belt.

So funny, I was thinking about doing something with leather, too. I hadn't yet decided what. A purse of some sort with different colored leather was my first idea, but I love the belt idea. Where do you get those spools of leather cord?
I got my leather cord at Hobby Lobby. I don't know if they have those where you are, but probably any craft store would have it.
