Just so you know...
I just thought I should let everyone know that we decided to set an official end date of August 31 for the knitalong. That way we can all have a summer full of experimenting.

That's perfect. That way it gives us more time to be a little more creative. I have another question. Can we incorporate yarn into the project. For instance, can I double strand with one non-yarn item and a eyelash yarn? Just rolling ideas around. Thanks, Alison
I don't see any reason why yarn can't be incorporated along with a non-yarn item. After all, the whole point of this knitalong is to be creative, so I don't think we should put too many limits on it.
Never done a knitalong before, but this one interests me, since I've been thinking of shredding some frayed dress shirts of my husband's to make rugs for our still-in-progress new house. This may be enough to get me motivated. Even been thinking about dyeing some of the white ones for color variety. Hmm, so I've got till Aug. 31st....
